Efficient Progress! Front/Rear Bumper Assembly Design Completed Data Freeze

[Summary] After 6 months of close collaboration and technical breakthrough, the front/rear bumper assembly design project we undertook smoothly completed a key milestone — data freeze before finish-machining — paving the way for subsequent tooling manufacturing and mass production.

[Lead] Recently, the front/rear bumper assembly design project of a traditional automaker’s tier-1 supplier achieved a major phased result; the project team completed the full process from concept to data freeze in 6 months with high quality, winning high customer recognition.

[Project Highlights]

Efficient delivery: completing the development and data freeze of a large complex assembly in only 6 months, far exceeding the industry average cycle.
Problem closed loop: identifying and resolving multiple potential structural and process risks at the tooling-design stage.
Precise data: the frozen data fully meet the OEM’s dimensional accuracy, assembly process and performance-regulation requirements.

[Project Details] Through refined project management decomposed into parallel modules, the team worked with the tooling maker to optimize structures over multiple rounds against risk points such as weld lines and sink marks, and used DMU checks to avoid assembly interference with headlights and grille in advance, achieving zero design issues before finish-machining.

[Strategic Significance] This progress fully demonstrates our full-process control and rapid-response capability in large exterior parts; completing data freeze on schedule highlights our value as a reliable technical partner.
