Partnering with a Tier-1 Supplier: Our First Two New AGS Development Projects
[Summary] We reached in-depth cooperation with a tier-1 supplier of a traditional OEM and for the first time undertook and launched structural-design development of two brand-new AGS products — built-in and exposed types — marking that our AGS technical strength has been recognized by core supply-chain partners.
[Lead] To respond to vehicles’ higher requirements for aerodynamics and thermal-management efficiency, we joined hands with the tier-1 supplier to jointly develop two AGS products with different structural characteristics, covering the full process from concept design to mass-production validation.
[Project Highlights]
Dual-line development: simultaneously launching two mainstream AGS structures — built-in and exposed — covering different vehicle-platform needs.
Deep cooperation: close collaboration with the tier-1 supplier, deeply participating in product definition and structural design.
Standard benchmarking: strictly benchmarking key industry performance indicators to ensure sealing, durability and response speed reach first-class levels.
[Project Details] The built-in AGS focuses on high integration with the front-end module, with high requirements for compactness and interference avoidance; the exposed type emphasizes fusion with the front-face styling, requiring key consideration of appearance flushness, blade aesthetics and pedestrian-protection regulations. The team will overcome difficulties such as low leakage rate (less than 5%), long cycle life (greater than or equal to 300k cycles) and low noise (less than or equal to 40dB).
[Strategic Significance] Direct cooperation with the tier-1 supplier is a key turning point for the AGS business moving from technical reserve to market application, which will consolidate our professional position and broaden market channels.
