Instrument Panel, Center Console & Interior Skeleton System

IP Crossbeam/Framework, CNSL Storage, Console Trim, Armrest
IP and CNSL assembly structural development for a traditional automaker’s EV model

We were responsible for a traditional automaker’s EV-model instrument panel (IP) and center console (CNSL) assembly structural development. Under the electrified platform, the project restructured the interior space and completed lightweight and modular design of the IP crossbeam/framework, CNSL storage system and console trim, balancing tech-style styling with manufacturing feasibility.

--- Project Highlights ---
1. Electrified interior restructuring: Based on the pure-EV platform removing the traditional tunnel hump, we re-planned the overall IP and CNSL layout, freeing front and cabin space and improving space utilization.
2. Lightweight skeleton design: The IP crossbeam and CNSL skeleton adopt high-strength steel and magnesium-aluminum hybrid structures, achieving significant weight reduction while meeting crash-safety targets.
3. Modular storage system: The CNSL storage box and console trim adopt modular design, supporting rapid switching across configurations and low-cost derivatives.
4. Tech-style trim & process: The console trim introduces translucent grain and ambient-light integration, balancing tech-style expression with grain/assembly process feasibility.
