CNSL design integrating vehicle refrigerator and wireless charging for a traditional automaker
We were responsible for a traditional automaker’s CNSL (center console) design project, integrating a vehicle refrigerator and 50W high-power wireless charging. Within the compact center-console space, the project completed the integrated layout of the refrigerator air duct, wireless-charging coil and active cooling system, meeting stringent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and thermal-safety regulations.

1. Multi-function integrated layout: Within the limited center-console space we coordinated the arrangement of refrigerator, wireless-charging module and storage box, optimizing ergonomic access and wiring to maximize functional density.
2. Active cooling & thermal safety: Addressing the high heat generation of 50W wireless charging, we designed an active air-cooled duct and temperature-monitoring strategy to ensure charging efficiency and surface temperature rise meet safety regulations.
3. EMC design: Shielding and filtering were applied to the wireless-charging coil and refrigerator compressor, passing vehicle EMC tests to avoid interference with onboard electronic devices.
4. Structural strength & NVH: We reinforced the center-console skeleton and refrigerator mounting bracket to suppress compressor start/stop and road-vibration transmission, improving cabin quietness and perceived quality.
