Pre-facelift front/rear bumper assembly design for the Changan CS75
We were responsible for the Changan CS75 minor-facelift front/rear bumper assembly design. Based on retaining the original vehicle architecture, the project enhanced front-face and tail visual impact through surface optimization and feature reshaping, and strengthened low-speed crash and assembly process, achieving a low-cost, short-cycle facelift refresh.

1. Surface reshaping & feature enhancement: We rearranged feature lines for the front grille and fog-lamp zones to strengthen horizontal visual width; the rear bumper combined surfaces with a lower protector to add layering and sportiness to the tail.
2. Low-cost short-cycle facelift: Reusing original hardpoints and most inner-structure parts, only the exposed surfaces and some trim parts were changed, greatly reducing tooling investment and development cycle.
3. Low-speed crash & repairability: Optimizing front/rear bumper energy-absorbing structures and vulnerable-part segmentation met low-speed crash repair-economy requirements and lowered the user’s later ownership cost.
4. Process & assembly consistency: Jointly with the tooling maker we reviewed parting lines and drafts, controlling appearance sink marks and grain consistency to ensure high matching degree between facelift parts and the original vehicle.
